The Granary of Abbondance in Piazza di Cestello, Innovation Center of Fondazione CR Firenze, is confirmed as the place chosen by Cisco in Tuscany where to apply the technological innovation developed by the American multinational and make it available to local startups and businesses. In this environment, designed for the city, the charm of the Medici barn is now the setting for the flexible work of digital professionals.
Cisco has in fact renewed its collaboration with Nana Bianca to “expand local IT and technological knowledge also in order to adequately support and accelerate the innovation process of excellent companies as well as to contribute to the birth and growth of new business projects”.
With this objective, also in collaboration with the company Computer Gross which is based in Empoli, will be carried out, within the hyperconnected co-working spaces that house the Cisco brand network infrastructures, joint training initiatives for the use of technologies and for the development of skills also aimed at local companies and local partners to consolidate a network of solutions and strategic meetings.
The new protocol provides, among other initiatives, that Nana Bianca and Computer Gross have the Cisco Networking Academy's online training courses available.
“We are proud to be part of this new initiative, which still enriches the collaboration on the issues of innovation and the future of work that binds us to Nana Bianca,” he commented the CEO of Cisco Italia, Gianmatteo Manghi. “Never before has it been important to join forces to create the broadest opportunities to develop skills and accelerate digitalization; working together at the ecosystem level allows us to support the most advanced realities and startups and to encourage the birth of new business projects.”
Alessandro Sordi, Co-founder and CEO of Nana Bianca comments: “Thanks also to this project that strengthens relations with the multinational Cisco — which for years has chosen to invest in Italy in order to promote the country's digital transformation — Nana Bianca and Computer Gross are confirmed as two leading players in innovation in the area and in supporting the most promising startups.”
